Workshop mods not downloading. Jun 20, You need to eu4 workshop mods not downloading into your library then go to properties for EU4 and make sure Enable Steam Cloud Synchronization is checked under the Updates tab. It doesn't matter if you use cloud saves, for some reason you need to have that checked for mods to update properly.

10/08/ · Steam Workshop and Mod Problems. Mods wont download from the steam workshop. Subscribing to a mod with the startup client open, I am never allowed to enable the mod. I have accessed [C:\Users\Mark\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Europa Universalis IV\mod] and every mod I've subscribed to from the steam workshop appears to be a 0 blogger.com file Workshop mods not downloading. I've started and exited the game multiple times, logged in and out of Steam. Played EU4 for a couple hours. Nothing, I've even tried restarting my computer. The mod I wanted didn't have any way to download other than through Steam
